FROM THE ROOTS TO THE STARS Former students of our Graves music academy, now top-flight musicians, and also our charismatic co-directors, join forces for the first evening of this festive edition for an exceptional concert. Together, they will pay tribute to the genius of Maurice Ravel, celebrating the 150th anniversary of his birth, and to Dmitri Shostakovich, whose death we are commemorating 50 years ago. Ravel - Sonata for violin and piano No 2 Allegretto Blues Perpetum mobile Vincent Balse - Jazz Waltz for violin and piano Shostakovich - Trio No 2 for violin, cello and piano in E minor op.67 Andante; Moderato Allegro con brio Largo Allegretto Artists Max Zorin, violin, Aurélienne Brauner, cello, Vincent Balse, piano Tasting at the end of the concert offered by the André LURTON vineyards.
